Mid Wales Food and Land Trust : The Mid Wales Food & Land Trust manages a portfolio of projects within a broad remit of reconnecting people, especially children, to agriculture and the natural environment, and promoting sustainable rural regeneration, especially local food.

Fordhall Farm : Fordhall farm have used an innovative system of selling shares in their farm to secure the tenure of a unique piece of organic land.

Garden Organic : Formally know as the HDRA, garden organic provide support for small scale organic growers.

Organic Centre Wales : Organic Centre Wales are a great source of information for organic producers in Wales.

Sustain : Sustain is a national alliance for better food and farming.

World Wide Workers on Organic Farms (WWOOF) : WWOOF is a world wide exchange network where bed, board and practical experience are given in return for help on organic farms. Stays of varied length are possible. WWOOF provides excellent opportunities for organic training, changing to a rural life, cultural exchange and being part of the organic movement.

Trehafren Children's Centre : Trehafren Children's Centre is based in Newtown and serves some of the most socially deprived wards in Powys. Cwm Harry Land Trust is working in partnership with the centre to provide a course on healthy eating for the parents who use the centre.

Glasu, Wales : Glasu is the Leader+ group working in Powys. They have recently helped Cwm Harry by providing both a vegetable doctor and an orchard doctor.

Wholesome Food Association : The Wholesome Food Association is a campaigning organisation, promoting smaller-scale, sustainable food production. They provide a low-cost, labelling scheme for marketing local, authentic, wholesome food without the expense of Organic certification.

Composting

Community Composting Association, UK : The Community Composting Network supports and promotes the community management and use of waste bio-degradable resources. It is a member's organisation, self-managed by an elected committee of members.

Community Recycling Network : The Community Recycling Network UK is a membership organisation promoting community based sustainable waste management as a practical and effective way of tackling the UK's growing waste problem
