Veggie Bag Scheme
How to join
Contact Cwm Harry and let us know that you are interested. In the first place people may order bags individually to get a taste of what is on offer, and then decide whether they would like a regular delivery. You can change the size of your taster bag from week to week until you are satisfied that you have found what suits your needs.
Thereafter we ask that people pay for their bags by standing order. This commitment by the customer enables us to plan future crops with the growers so that they can plant the vegetables which you would like to see in the bags. It allows us to forward contract with growers, paying them a deposit before they start, to give them confidence that growing will be worth their while.
Veggie Loans
We have linked up with the local Credit Union to provide customers with the opportunity to take out an interest-free loan with which to join our veggie-bag scheme. You take out a loan with the Credit Union – the loan covers the cost of purchasing six-months worth of bags. Taking out a loan doesn't cost you anymore than paying cash, but it helps us to help the grower develop his business.
What happens if I go on holiday?
Please let us know a week in advance if you are going away on holiday, or do not require a delivery for any reason.
